A To-Do List For You!

1. Take a 10-30 minute walk every day, and while you walk, smile.
It is the ultimate anti-depressant.

2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. Talk to God (or to your higher power or meditate) about what is going on in your life. Buy a lock if you have to.

3. When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement,
' My purpose is to__________ today. I am thankful for______________ '

4. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that
is manufactured in plants.

5. Drink green tea and plenty of water. Eat blueberries, wild Alaskan
salmon, broccoli, almonds & walnuts.

6. Try to make at least three people smile each day.

7. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip, energy vampires,
issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control
Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.

8. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a
college kid with a maxed out charge card.

9. Life is not fair, but it is still good.

10. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

11. Don ' t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

12. You are not so important that you have to win every argument.
Agree to disagree.

13. Make peace with your past so it will not spoil the present.

14. Don ' t compare your life to others. You have no idea what
their journey is all about.

15. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.

16. Frame every so-called disaster with these words: ' In five
years, will this matter? '

17. Forgive everyone for everything.

18. What other people think of you is none of your business.

19. GOD (depending on your beliefs) heals everything - but you have to ask Him (translate to your religion).

20. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

21. Your job will not take care of you when you are sick.
Your friends will. Stay in touch!!!

22. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.

23. Each night, before you go to bed complete the following statements:
I am thankful for__________. Today I accomplished_________.

24. Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.

25. When you are feeling down, start listing your many blessings.
You will be smiling before you know it.

Public Enemies Trailer

This movie looks amazing. I love Michael Mann. My favorite film of his is Collateral.

Public Enemies stars Christian Bale and Johnny Depp.

Alan Moore With Advice For Young Artists

As a young artist myself, this really resonated with me. I think it shows that Alan Moore isnt as crazy as people make him out to be and that he is actually a very down to earth guy.

It's Been Awhile...

It's been quite a long time since I have been posting and I really don't know why. Things have been pretty hectic now a days and I'm just trying to get mine. I now have a new vigor to start posting.

Time To Get Things Going

I may not have mentioned this, but I am a aspiring actor. I have been in many high school plays at my Alma mater, St. Joe's Prep and I've been told that I'm pretty good. Recently though I have been resistant to get started with a professional career. I don't know why, but something in me kept telling me to wait. I don't know if it's an instinctive thing or I may just be scared. I think it's a little bit of both. I don't even have head shots for God sakes! But starting today, I think all this is going to change. I have found a guy to give me pretty cheap shots and I think now is the time to get started with my career. Let's go.

Thinking About Doing This

These are a couple of pictures from a really cool DIY platform bed. The guy who made it said it's not finished but it looks pretty good already. Check it out here.

I Want This...

This is Awesome! Check it out here.

Some Random Photos

This is a photo I took a long time ago when I got off the train coming home from class. It's the black Hulk Hogan. I don't know why this guy is dressed up like this, but it's awesome. This guy had no idea that I was taking a picture, but I had to. Sorry, Black Hulk Hogan. You are awesome.

Don't Watch The News!

When the election was going on I was a CNN fiend. I watched the news 24/7 and I was quite proud of the fact that as a young man, I was staying on top of world events. Now, ever since the depression has started (Yes, depression) things have changed. I no longer watch the news now. I occasionally check CNN.com so I don't seem like a complete idiot when I want to talk about world events but I refuse to watch any national or local news on TV. Why, you ask? because it's depressing and misleading. Yes, we are in a major economic crisis and all people should believe this but what hope do we have when we are constantly told that it's only going to get worse? I have been trying to find a job and whenever I happen to turn on the news when I'm headed to another channel, I think what's the use. If no one is hiring, why should I look for a job? So, take my advice and don't watch the news!

I Love This...

I want the Foreigner Belt....Now....

Response To The Grammy's

Well, Like most people last night I laid down in my bed and watched the Grammy awards. I'm big music lover and even though these big award shows tend to be political and the best acts rarely win, I watched to see my favorite artists. I watched as my favorite band, U2 give a great opening performance of their new single, "Get On Your Boots".

I also loved Coldplay's performance. They performed "Lost" with Jay-Z and "Viva La Vida". I was actually surprised that they did Viva La Vida with all of the controversy with their plagiarism lawsuit by Joe Satriani. Here's the video:

For the first time I actually thought the awards except for two awards. I thought that best rap should have went to anyone but Lil Wayne. Tha Carter 3 was a disaster in my opinion. It never lived up to the hype and it had only a couple of good songs. Lil Wayne's rapping on the record, while unique, was trash. His rhymes were all over the place and barely made any sense. Just because you can take two words that mean the exact opposite and make them rhyme, doesn't make you the greatest rapper alive. It should have went to Nas, Lupe Fiasco or Hova.

The next award that had my underwear in a bunch was the highly coveted, Record of the Year. The award went to Robert Plant. Bullshit. You mean the award went to the people who just performed one of the most boring songs I have ever heard? The Grammy's always do this with record of the year. They always give it to someone who is either dead or somewhat of a legend. It doesn't matter if it's a good record or not. The award should have went to Coldplay, Ne-yo or Radiohead.

Why?

Why? That is the question. Why start a blog when everyone and their Mother has one? If you do start a blog, what the hell are you going to talk about? All of these are valid questions and to be honest, I don't have an answer. I sometimes get this fear that if I'm not doing a blog, I am missing out on something and that when someone asks me, "Do you have a blog?", I have to answer shamefully, "No".

This isn't my first attempt at writing a blog. I had one awhile ago and it was much more of a personal blog than this one is going to be. So, here we go again and I guess you're wondering what the hell I'm I going to be writing about? Anything really. Anything that comes to my mind. It could be news, analysis, some personal thoughts, stories, photos, you name it. So hop on and I promise this is gonna be even better than the real thing.
